Board of Trustees
The Personal Branding MBA Board of Trustees consists of well known academics and professionals from universities and the business community around the world. They are well known for their expertise representing the various aspects of business practice. Besides their role as Board Member, they also travel as ‘visiting professors’ making up part of the guest lecture series.
Currently (2010) the Personal Branding MBA Board of Trustees is made up of the following members:
Prof. Dr. Helen Turnbull, professor at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Nova SE University, has 30 years of experience assisting businesses in enhancing organizational capabilities. As a practiced Organizational Development consultant, Dr. Turnbull assists clients in developing a full range of organizational development consulting services including strategic planning; diversity and multicultural change management, training, leadership development; executive coaching; team building and merging of organizational cultures. She is a global inclusion and diversity specialist. Her dissertation research was on internalized oppression across cultures and she has a deep knowledge and understanding of what it takes to create an inclusive environment.
Dr. Turnbull’s extensive experience includes working with Blue Chip clients such as Texas Instruments, Raytheon, J.P. Morgan Chase, Lehman Brothers, Motorola, Hewlett Packard, A.T. & T., Lucent Technologies, IBM, American Express and Citigroup Europe. Dr. Turnbull made major contributions in assisting Texas Instruments to win the Catalyst Award and the Malcolm Baldridge Award and was instrumental in helping both J. P. Morgan Chase and Citigroup Europe win the prestigious Opportunity Now Award and Business in the Community Awards. She has also developed online assessment tools which provide clients with behavioral metrics for individuals and organizations; including the Inclusion Skills Measurement Profile.
Prof. Dr. Evelyn D. Robertson, professor in the Organizational Leadership doctoral program at Pepperdine University, is an organization change consultant with experience assisting large organizations in designing and implementing strategic change and tactical business improvement strategies. She is experienced in the successful development of innovative programs as well as the implementation of targeted leadership, management, and change strategies. A scholar-practitioner, Dr. Robertson uses an approach rooted in strong business ethics, a commitment to knowledge transfer and a focus on improved bottom line results. Her functional areas of expertise include knowledge management, total quality management, organization change, training and development, and diversity management. Previously she held numerous management positions at Xerox Corporation in areas including sales, marketing, and executive consulting, culminating in program management with worldwide responsibility at the Xerox Leadership Institute. In her last position with Xerox, she assisted in the design and implementation of a corporate knowledge management initiative, corporate diversity initiative, guided global corporate programs to assess and prepare emerging leaders for senior level positions and was responsible for leadership development research, planning, and implementation.
Prof. Christopher J. Newell, Professor at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale, FL. He has 20 years experience in the field of Managerial and Financial Accounting, helping multi-billion dollar, publicly traded corporations, enhance efficiencies, significantly contributing to their bottom line. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Johnson and Wales University in North Miami, where he teaches Economics and Mathematics. Professor Newell’s experience in NY includes working with independent distributors for Coca-Cola, NY and Balducci Enterprises in Manhattan. Over the past 11 years in Miami, he has held positions of increasing responsibility for large publicly traded corporations. He has been employed as a Cost Analyst for ProSource/Ameriserve, contributing over $3.7 million a year, and as a Senior Accountant for Ryder System Inc., where he contributed over $12 million. Currently he owns and operates his own Accounting / Consulting firm where he recently had an engagement as an Interim Assistant Controller for Veolia Environmental Services (VE).
